I ain’t buying it. If there was anybody who does not look like the most decorated soldier in WW2 it is this dude. I do not understand how he can climb on a tank destroyer, blast away with a .50 until the ammo was gone. How did he reload it? Why didn’t the Germans rush him then? The Americans would rush the Germans when the barrels were changed on the MG42 but they could change that in seconds. The last I looked at belt fed .50 takes longer. @Jake Lakota: I imagine it’s because even though one group might outnumber another drastically, it still only takes one bullet to kill you, which is probably all most really care about when starring down the barrel of a machine gun.
