The animal faces at the end really threw me off
Cleaner fish are the reverse of clown fish. They are all born female, and grow up in the territory of a dominant male. When the dominant male dies, or is removed, the number one wife turns into a male and inherits the harem. The male interactions with the females involves ritualised aggression. This apparently keeps them in their place, and prevents them from changing sex.
